(If you just sang it like Justin Timberlake... we're already friends. ๐Ÿ˜„)

Listen.

I know it's a meme.

But May is actually a GOLD MINE for patient connection.

And yes... that means referrals too.

Here's the Friday Focus ๐ŸŽฏ

Open Canva or a Word doc.

Slap on a little NSYNC "It's gonna be May" photo at the top.

Then make a list of EVERYTHING we're celebrating this month at the front desk:

โœจ Mental Health Awareness Month → all May

โœจ National Posture Month → all May

โœจ Military Appreciation Month → all May

โœจ High Blood Pressure Month → all May

โœจ Star Wars Day → May 4

โœจ Teachers & Nurses Day → May 5–6

โœจ Mother's Day → May 11

โœจ Memorial Day → May 26

Print it.

Pop it at the front desk.

And THIS is where the magic happens. ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿผ

Some Patients Will Walk In and INSTANTLY Sing It With You

I'm telling you.

Some patients will walk through that door, see the NSYNC photo, and start singing it with your C.A. without skipping a beat.

Some will look at it confused. Bless them. ๐Ÿ˜„

Either way → it stops them.

It makes them smile.

It opens a conversation.

And that, my friend, is what we call connection is the conversion.

Here's Why This Actually Matters

(This is the part where I want to slow down and have you really hear me. Stay with me for a second.)

Every single one of those holidays on the list?

It's a doorway.

A doorway into a real conversation.

That turns into a referral moment.

That turns into another human being getting the chiropractic care they need.

Side Note ... Actually No, This IS the Whole Point

Let me show you what I mean.

Walk through these scripts with me. Read them out loud.

๐ŸŽฏ "Who do you know who's been stressed lately?" (during Mental Health Awareness Month)

๐ŸŽฏ "Who do you know who's a nurse? We'd love to take care of them this month." (during Nurses Week)

๐ŸŽฏ "Who's the mom in your life that needs a little love right now?" (during Mother's Day week)

๐ŸŽฏ "Got a teacher in your circle? End-of-year burnout is real and chiropractic care helps SO much." (Teachers Day week)

Do you see what I'm doing there?

We're not "asking for referrals." ๐Ÿ™…๐Ÿผ‍โ™€๏ธ

We're LEADING patients into thinking about the people in their world.

Using the calendar as the bridge. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

That's the whole game.

Pause Here For a Reflection Moment

Think about your front desk right now.

When was the last time you handed a patient a doorway INTO their own life like that?

When was the last time someone walked into your office, started smiling at your front desk, and walked out 20 minutes later thinking about THREE people they want to refer?

If the answer is "I'm not sure" → that's okay.

But notice it. Because awareness is where every shift starts.

Today's Friday Focus ๐ŸŽฏ

Here's your mission. (And don't overthink this. It takes 5 to 10 minutes.)

๐ŸŽฏ 1. Make the May list. Use the holidays I gave you above. Add any I missed.

๐ŸŽฏ 2. Add the NSYNC photo. Do it. It's fun. Permission granted to have a personality at the front desk.

๐ŸŽฏ 3. Pop it at the front desk where every patient walking in can see it.

๐ŸŽฏ 4. Pick ONE holiday this week to lead with. Just one. Make it a referral conversation.

๐ŸŽฏ 5. Come back and tell me how it went. I genuinely love hearing what's happening inside your office. ๐Ÿ‘€

For My D.C.s Reading This

If you're a D.C. reading this → I want to call you into something with love.

Your team can't lead these conversations if you don't EMPOWER them to be playful at the front desk.

That NSYNC photo? It's a permission slip.

Permission to be HUMAN. Permission to be FUN. Permission to lead with personality.

Some D.C.s read this and think → "we're a serious office, we don't do silly memes."

I get it. I totally get it.

But here's the thing → patients aren't choosing your practice because you're the most "professional" office in town.

They're choosing your practice because they FEEL something when they walk in.

Personality is a competitive advantage. With love. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

For My C.A.s Reading This

If you're a C.A. reading this → claim this.

You don't need permission to make the May list.

Just open Canva. Add the photo. Add the holidays. Print it. Tape it up.

Walk in Monday morning ready to be the kind of C.A. who turns a meme into a conversation that turns into another patient getting their life back.

THAT is who you are.

More is already yours. ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿผ

The Belief Shift

Most chiropractic teams think referrals come from "asking for referrals."

They don't.

Referrals come from CONVERSATIONS.

And conversations come from CONNECTION.

And connection comes from being a HUMAN BEING at the front desk → not a transaction processor.

A meme on the wall is not silly.

A meme on the wall is a conversation starter.

A conversation starter is a referral generator.

A referral generator is how your practice grows.

It really is that simple. ๐ŸŽฏ

๐ŸŽฏSuccess Loves Action. Success Loves YOU.

Don't overthink this.

Your list + your logo + NSYNC = DONE.

Just get it up before lunch today.
